While looking for netbook reviews earlier today I was surprised to find some amazing deals. In the past I had always thought that netbooks would cost over £1000 due to the compact size, and the power that they actually offer. They are after all a more up to date laptop, granted they have less power in their specifications, but I would quite happily trade this for the compactness of these neat little units.

From shopping around I found various different netbooks available, with prices ranging from anything as low as -£200 all the way up to over £1500. Obviously the £1500+ models do come with all the latest gadgets, firewire, blue ray (even in these small units!), huge hard drives and mobile internet through 3G. Saying that the little compaq £200 netbook came with more than my £1000 laptop has! Minus the DVD drive, the compaq had more HDD space, more memory and a higher specification processor.
